SMS Opt-In Example
Customers opt in to receive SMS messages through a publicly accessible website service request form.
Before submitting the form, customers provide their phone number, select SMS as their preferred contact method, and must check a required consent checkbox.
The consent checkbox states:
“I agree to receive SMS messages related to my service request, including appointment reminders, service updates, and customer support communications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance.”
Customers will not receive SMS messages unless they have provided explicit consent through the checkbox.
